Our Story and the two annoying Khaleds
In 2013, West Lafayette, Indiana, set the scene for a dinner that would spark a culinary revolution. Dr. Khaled Alrasheed and Dr. Mohammad Alkandari, in the midst of their PhD studies, shared a meal that would change their lives. The highlight? A brisket by Dr. Mohammad, so extraordinary it inspired Dr. Khaled to suggest, "This should be in a restaurant!"
Initially, the idea seemed far-fetched, until a meeting with another Dr. Khaled reignited their ambition. Dr. Mohammad's smoked short ribs, a new addition, wowed everyone with their impeccable taste, convincing them these flavors deserved a wider audience.
Their dream materialized into 300°F Smokehouse, a haven for food lovers to enjoy those legendary ribs and more. This story captures how a simple meal among friends evolved into a celebrated dining spot, all thanks to a dish too remarkable to stay behind closed doors.
